Since Congress enacted the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act last year, the National Restaurant Association has attempted to constructively shape the regulations and keep lawmakers informed of the industry's greatest concerns. But there are limits to the change the restaurant industry can make through regulations. If Congress doesn't repeal the law, the Association and its members urge Congress to at a minimum make fundamental changes in the law.

Visit Restaurant.org's Advocacy & Representation section to track the National Restaurant Association's regulatory comments as federal agencies begin to define key portions of the law. On the legislative side, the Association's April 2011 Special Report on Health Care looks at efforts by the Association and its members to change key portions of the law through Congress.

Contact Angelo Amador or Michelle Neblett for information on the Association's legislative and regulatory efforts to ensure health care reform works for restaurants.
